Olympia got back on the winning track with a 19-0 Metro Conference win Friday afternoon at Edgewater. Freshman Cameryn Orland pitched the Titans to victory, surrendering only one hit and striking out seven in her three innings of work.
The Titans wasted little time, scoring six runs in the top of the first inning, highlighted by junior Antwane Mitchell’s run-scoring triple. Olympia added 10 runs in the second with Larissa Rodriguez providing a two-run double, part of her 2-for-2, 3-RBI game.
Cameryn Orland finished with two hits and two runs scored, and her sister, junior Caryssa had two hits and two RBI. Every member of the Titan team got at least two at bats and seven got at least one hit and 12 different players scored.
Olympia returns home Tuesday to host Lake Highland Prep in a 4:30 game that will be Senior Night as the Titans honor their five seniors.
