Olympia extended its winning streak to five games with a 12-3 road win Monday at Freedom. With their sixth win in the last seven games, the Titans improved to 8-3 on the season heading into Tuesday’s home district game at 4 p.m. vs. Wekiva.
Cameryn Orland and Grace Turner energized the Titan offense, with each going 4-for-5 as Olympia finished with 19 hits. Orland also scored three runs and Turner drove in three runs. Antwane Mitchell had three hits and Casey Heinle, Megan Wilder and Larissa Rodriguez all had two hits apiece. Heinle also drove in two.
Caryssa Orland (3-0) picked up the win in the circle, allowing just two earned runs in 5.2 innings and striking out five. Megan Wilder finished things up by retiring all four batters she faced.
